The networks of European research in economics, law and political science

SIEPS' researchers participate in activities organized by the three national networks for European Research; The Swedish Network for European Legal Studies (NEF), Swedish Network for European Studies in Political Science (SNES) and the Swedish Network for European Studies in Economics and Business (SNEE). The aim of these networks is to establish a forum where researchers are given the opportunity to link the Swedish university research with a focus on European issues, meet, discuss and develop new research. The networks organize conferences, seminars, and offer researchers the opportunity to publish in both national and international contexts. The networks publish annually joint anthology with current European research. The annual yearbook is called "Europaperspektiv".

Europaforum Hässleholm

Europaforum Hässleholm is a forum where central issues are discussed from a European perspective. Since 2003, Europaforum Hässleholm has evolved from a half-day lecture to the largest arena for current European issues in Sweden. The event addresses the economic, scientific and social issues and is characterized by a broad coalition of local, national and international actors. SIEPS has since 2003 participated as a partner and has, according to tradition, a half-day seminar where a new report, or a current topic is analyzed and debated. In 2009 SIEPS collaborated with the SNS Democratic Council who presented their report "Europe after the enlargement". Some of the participants were Stefan Fülle, Minister of European Affairs, Czech Republic, and Olli Rehn, EU Commissioner responsible for the enlargement.
