10 juni Europaparlamentsvalet: en första analys

On June 7, Swedes voted for the fourth time in a European Parliament election. Previous elections have been characterized by a low participation and large fluctuations in the support of the various political parties. Generally speaking,  the government parties and the major parties usually do worse in these elections compared with national elections.

What was the outcome for each party in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe? How high was the turnout this time?

SIEPS invited three scientists with different expertise on these issues in order to jointly carry out an initial assessment of the election.
