29 September - EU and the Swedish wolf-hunting

vikt:
8

The Swedish wolf-hunting policy is today an issue high on the EU agenda, something that can hardly have escaped anyone. The European Commission has questioned the Swedish management plan for wolves and the Swedish government has replied by replacing the 2012 licensed hunting with extended protective hunting. The issue is highly controversial and at this seminar Jan Darpö, Professor of Environmental Law, will present a new SIEPS publication with his analysis on EU law and wolf hunting.

At the seminar the analysis Brussels Advocates Swedish Grey Wolves (2011:8epa) will be presented. The report is part of the research project Mobility and Cohesion: Infarstructural challenges.
