From Policy Takers to Policy Makers
Date: 26 September 2005
The seminar was held at the Centre for European Policy Studies. Seven of the authors of the report presented the result of a collaboration between SIEPS and six European research institutes. The report concludes that the new EU Member States will not be able to fully reap the benefits from the Structural and Cohesion Funds. In the worst case scenario, there is even a risk that EU Cohesion Policy will exacerbate the problems, rather than providing a solution to them.
