At a seminar on the ratification of the European Constitution a new report from SIEPS, written by Ann-Cathrine Jungar and Christer Karlsson, was presented. The report discusses the different ways in which the member states have chosen to ratify the constitution. Furthermore, the study assesses the debate on the advantages and disadvantages of referendums and relates it to current research in the field.
