On 30 September 2010 the Swedish Institute for European Policy Studies (SIEPS) will arrange a seminar in Brussels on circular migration, where Professor Per Lundborg, Stockholm University, presents his report Immigration Policy for Circular Migration. One reason for the EU to consider a circular migration policy, is the fear that developing countries will experience "brain drain" when high-skilled workers emigrate to the EU. In his report, Professor Lundborg examines amongst other things to which extent "brain drain" is a problem for the sending countries. The report is part of the research project Internal and external dimensions of a common asylum and migration policy.
