April The Dublin Regulation: Why is it not working and what needs to change?

At a seminar held on 8 April 2016, researchers and experts discussed what the Dublin Regulation actually mean for the EU´s global goal of a common asylum and immigration policy?

The Dublin Regulation’s inherent problems have become apparent during the recent refugee situation in Europe.

The European Commission is expected to soon present a proposal for reform of the regulation, a proposal that will be discussed at this seminar.
